The Start-line and Finish Lines are 500m radius, 1000m total length. Do not confuse the Sporting Code with Competition rules, they differ radically!
The GOAL distance options are Closed Course flights. This means you need to declare the start and finish points. For a Closed Course the Start and finish points are identical, you need to finish at your start-point and “close” your course. Read up in the SC3 code for the definitions of the waypoints.
Diamond badges get issued separately for each performance. Once all three have been achieved, we register you with FAI. For all badge flights, the pilot must be alone in the glider.
