A Waypoint is point specified by a set of coordinates. A Waypoint may be a Start-point, Turn-point, or Finish-point.
The declaration is the pre-flight entry of data on the FR. It consists of pilot name, glider type and the glider registration or callsign, plus any waypoint(s) coordinates as required by a given soaring performance. If you use more than one FR, they must have identical declarations, or the flight will be invalidated.
